Through photography, I create a transformative photo shoot experience that will help women unhide themselves and for older women to be seen and remembered as confident, strong, creative, and fearless.
Bare Me aims to uncover thoughts we may, or may not, have, about a complex relationship with our bodies, especially as we enter menopause and beyond.
I encourage women to discover freedom in their bodies through minimal clothing or near/nudity in a natural environment.
I encourage women to be proud of their bodies, to find acceptance, comfort, and confidence in them, to own their stories, and to inspire others to do the same.
Bare Me is a collaborative process, and every photoshoot will be unique.
“I was in heaven, standing there on the edge of the cliff, feeling like there was nothing between me and nature and the earth, and I felt really, really connected to the elements all around me. An incredible experience, with the added bonus of having photographs to remember it by."
50 and beyond...

Something happens when you hit your 50s. Menopause can be a defining marker of time and the continuation of a complex body relationship for many women. Inhibitions can sometimes override that feeling of freedom we once enjoyed.
We can sometimes be confronted by the flesh of our own story. The babies we've carried, the injuries we've sustained, the scars of past pain—all of which many of us have hidden and covered up our entire lives. Both negative and positive thoughts about our bodies can both inhibit and liberate us.
“Collaborating with you for this photographic experience really helped me overcome a lot of complex feelings I had about my body. To be honest, I did feel a little bit anxious and worried about exposing parts of myself, especially my stomach which I have always struggled with. I knew that I could trust you implicitly and just submitted myself to the elements and almost forgot you were there.”
Body issues are not new to women. Historically, as 50+ year olds, we have grown up in times of significant body focus, body shaming, and body pressure, where we may have felt it necessary to cover up. That somehow we weren’t good enough.
Bare Me encourages older women to unhide, be free of inhibition, and

Experience...

The photographic experience will be a process of self-discovery. From the first conversation, to the exhilaration of the shoot itself, being confronted and potentially judgmental, and finally finding resolve, peace, and pleasure in what you see.
You may feel a mix of emotions—fear, dread, anxiety, exhilaration, and excitement—leading up to your shoot. All of these feelings are normal. I have photographed hundreds of women and know that once "you’re in the zone" and you’re there in your element, you will feel both exhilarated and peaceful.
Bare Me aims to give you a selection of images you will be proud of and the potential to create arresting artwork to enjoy and love in your home.
